WESTLAND, Mich. -

A Ford Mustang had to be pulled out from a pool Wednesday at an apartment complex in Westland.

A 25-year-old man said he was driving to pickup his girlfriend in the Riverbend Apartments when his brakes went out.

He was able to get out of the car.

The car was slightly damaged and towed away.

The apartment complex is off Warren Road near Middlebelt Road.
