DETROIT -

Tuesday morning will be misty again with fog and low visibility for drivers and pedestrians to be wary of while commuting.  Tuesday afternoon will be mostly cloudy but mild with highs in the low 50s.

Tuesday night will be cool with lows near 40.

Travel Day, Wednesday will be mostly sunny and calm in Detroit and South Michigan.  Highs will return to the middle 50s.  Most of the United States will be calm.  The main trouble spots will be in the Pacific Northwest (the state of Washington, Oregon, northern California and the northern Rockies).  This area will have persistent, heavy rain and snow.  Plans traveling to San Francisco/Oakland north to Seattle and the Canadian border into the mountains will be delayed.

Weather for America's Thanksgiving Parade in Detroit will be perfect.  The morning will be cool in the low 40s.  Afternoon temps will be near 60 degrees outside Ford Field where the Lions will take on the Texans.

Shoppers will be greeted with chillier air and showers Friday with temperatures in the 40s.  Saturday and Sunday will be sunnier but still chilly with lows near freezing and highs in the 40s.
