ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. -

St. Clair Shores firefighters battled a condo fire at the St. Clair By The Lake condo complex on E. Jefferson, just north of 13 Mile Road.

Police say the fire started at a two-story complex around 8 a.m. Sunday morning.

The unit involved houses a collection of four condos, of which three were destroyed in the fire.

Crews from another jurisdiction were called to assist the St. Clair Shores fire department.

Investigators say the fire may have started in a chimney of one of the condos.

One of the condo's occupants are currently out of town, and no injuries were reported at the other units.

The fire is still under investigation.
