DETROIT – A fire alarm caused the MGM Casino to be evacuated Thursday evening.
Gamblers had to leave the building as fire investigators and staff tried to find out why the alarm sounded.

There was no sign of fire and it appears this was a false alarm. Guests were being allowed back inside Thursday evening.
Detroit firefighters did respond to the alarm call.
