A video featuring Detroit's own Eminem was played Wednesday during the United Auto Workers' three-day bargaining convention at Cobo Center.

The three-minute video, narrated by by Eminem, encouraged UAW members to not give up.

"You took our country from its infancy into industry," Eminem said in the video. "Your name still carries with it the idea of a nation built on steel, muscle and sweat."

"You know that nothing is accomplished without hard work and sacrifice," Eminem said. "You've built us; you've moved us."

The video was originally produced for the 2009 NCAA Final Four.

Eminem's recent "Imported From Detroit" ad for Chrysler was also played at the convention.
