Downriver police chase crash
SOUTHGATE, Mich. -

Wyandotte police tried to stop a vehicle Friday night because it appeared to be a drunk driving situation. However, the driver took off at a high rate of speed through Southgate.

The pickup truck dashed through traffic, causing an injury crash at Dix Highway and Eureka Road. That didn't stop the driver, who kept on speeding.

Police were able to catch up to the pickup after the driver tried to go the wrong way on Interstate 75.

One arrest was made.
