Detroit police: Woman killed, another hurt in shooting during break-in on city's west side

DETROIT -

Detroit police said a woman was shot to death early Friday morning during a home break-in on the city’s west side.

Police said four people forced their way into a home in the 16100 block of Muirland Street and opened fire.

A 22-year-old woman died.

A 55-year-old woman was hurt -- she’s in temporary serious condition.

Police haven’t released any descriptions.
