Detroit gets another chance to quench its thirst for rain

Wednesday morning will be dry, but the afternoon will become wet.  AM drivers will have no weather slow-downs as temps start in the 60s.  The ride home will be wetter and warmer with highs in the middle 80s, cloudier skies and a chance of showers and thunderstorms.  This may slow down motorists, but farmers and gardeners will love it.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible Wednesday night.  A warm sector of air will blanket Southeast michigan keeping temps near 80 during the night and in the middle and upper 70s by Thursday morning.

A cold front will bring stronger showers and thunderstorms Thursday with higher winds, heavier rain, more frequent lightning and the possibility of hail.  Hot weather returns, too, with afternoon temperatures in the low 90s.

Friday will have on and off showers with highs in the 80s.  Sunshine returns in time for the weekend with beautiful conditions.  Nights will be crisp, and days will be warm; highs in the 80s, lows in the 60s.
