Dearborn Cheli's Chili Bar to close

DEARBORN, Mich. -

Cheli's Chili Bar, owned by former Detroit Red Wings defenseman Chris Chelios, will close its doors for a final time Wednesday.

The restaurant on Michigan Avenue at Oakwood Boulevard in Dearborn's downtown district has been serving up food for the past 10 years. Employees found out about the closure on Saturday.

Some employees may move to Cheli's other location near Comerica Park in Detroit.
