A waitress in Colorado recently found herself serving drinks to a woman using her stolen ID.

Brianna Priddy's wallet had been stolen nearly two weeks earlier during a night out with friends, Denver TV station KUSA reported.

Since then, someone had been using her identity to write hundreds of dollars in bad checks, according to The Associated Press.

Payback came on Feb. 25, when a woman came in to the Applebee's Priddy works at with a group, ordered a drink and handed her the stolen ID.

"I didn't say anything," Priddy told KUSA. "I handed it back to her and said, 'Sure I'll be right back with your margarita.' Went straight to the phone. Called the cops."

Lakewood police arrived in minutes, and took the 26-year-old woman into custody.

She's now facing identity theft and criminal impersonation charges. Police said they also found drugs on her.

"We found some narcotics in this woman's possession, so she's in quite a bit of hot water," police spokesman Steve David told KUSA.
