Firearm deer hunting season begins on Thursday.

No snow is in the forecast, but it will be cold in the morning and chilly in the afternoon through the season's first full weekend.

Morning lows will be below freezing with sunrise between 7:24 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. through Sunday.

Afternoon highs will be in the middle and upper 40s.  Sunset will be from 5:11 p.m. to 5:05 p.m.

Skies will be fair in the early morning and evening and mostly sunny during the day.

Hunters who are early risers must keep their fingers, toes and other extremities warm all day and night.
