Cold front brings showers and much cooler air

Rain arrives early, then cool and breezy in Detroit

DETROIT – Tuesday morning will have rain for motorists and students.  Temperatures start near 60 degrees and barely budge during the day.  Breezy northwest winds blow much cooler air into the Detroit Area keeping temperatures between 60 and 65 degrees.  Umbrellas and rain boots can be put away in the afternoon.  Some sun breaks out for the PM rush hour.

Tuesday night will be the chilliest of the week and temps dive into the low 40s.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny, but it remains cool.  Highs will be just above 60 degrees.  Jackets will be needed the rest of the week with daytime highs in the 60s and nighttime lows near 50.  On and off showers return Thursday and Friday.
