Coast Guard searching for man in Detroit River

DETROIT -

The Coast Guard is currently searching for a man in the Detroit River who was seen falling from the Douglas MacArthur Bridge Saturday afternoon.

A search-and-rescue team that includes a rescue boatcrew, a rescue aircew and other crews are searching the waterways.

The man was described as wearing a red shirt or jacket.

The Coast Guard is asking if anyone with any information to contact the Coast Guard Sector Detroit Command Center at 313-568-9560.
