A volunteer is being accused of putting medication in a plastic egg prior to an Easter egg hunt at a church.

Members of Christ the King Catholic Church in Alabama learned that one of the 1,500 plastic eggs hidden allegedly contained an Adderall pill.

The parents were notified and asked that they return the eggs, but not before a 6-year-old child had already ingested the pill, reports the Press-Register.

Jarret Anthony Helm, a 21-year-old volunteer, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, according to Daphne police. Whether Helm placed the pill in the egg on purpose or on accident is stull unknown.

Police told Press-Register that the child's parents said the 6-year-old did not suffer any "adverse effects."
