DETROIT -

Wayne County prosecutors have dropped criminal charges against the man who was arrested in connection with the stabbing death of a bouncer who was ejecting him from Club Pandemonium

All charges against 20-year-old LaVell Dumas were dropped due to what prosecutors are calling a "lack of evidence."

Lou Ferrin, 40, was killed Sept. 28 outside the club.

It was the second deadly shooting at the club during the summer. Bouncer Marcel Jackson, 38, also was fatally shot June 20 in a dispute with a male customer.
