Body found in Ash Township is missing Flint mother

ASH TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

An update to a story Local 4's NightCam first reported on Monday at 11 p.m.

The body of woman found in a roadside ditch in Ash Township has been identified as that of a missing Flint woman.

Michigan State Police are investigating the death of 27-year-old Tanisha Colton, who was a mother of three.

Police say the death is being treated as a homicide and a person is in custody related to the case but hasn't been charged.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine cause of death.

Family and friends of Colton have been searching for her in Genesee County.

Police say she was last seen leaving work March 13.
