Bloomfield Township police are investigating four home invasions which all occurred within a matter of hours on Wednesday.

Police believe all four were committed by the same suspects. One of the break-ins was interrupted by a homeowner on Inkster Road.

Once the suspects noticed they were spotted by the resident they got into a smaller tan or silver colored van and fled southbound on Inkster Road.

The four break-ins were committed in the 100 block of Hamilton Road, 5000 block of Inkster Road, 6000 block of Colby and 1000 block of Alexander. Police say in each case thieves smashed out a rear door wall or kicked in a door.

The public is being asked to be aware of any strange vehicles parked in neighbor's driveways and to report any strange incidents to police.
