BIRMINGHAM, Mich. -

According to Birmingham Public Schools, Seaholm High School was briefly locked down Friday while police searched for a suspicious person in the area.

Marcia Wilkinson, director of community relations at BPS, said the school was locked down for about 15 minutes while police searched the parking lot for a vehicle. Officers found what they were looking for, Wilkinson said.

It's not clear what exactly police were investigating other than a suspicious person.
