Bank of America branch robbed in Saint Clair County

Man wearing stocking cap hands teller note demanding money

EAST CHINA TOWNSHIP, Mich. – According to Saint Clair County Sheriff Department, a man wearing a stocking cap and dark sunglasses handed a note to a Bank of America teller demanding money.

The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash.

The robber ran from the bank heading southbound along the 2000 block of South River Road in East China Township.

A Michigan State police K-9 unit was called to the scene but was unable to track down the suspect. Nobody was hurt during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a two toned coat. He's approximately 6-feet tall, thin build, about 50 years old.
