AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -

Auburn Hills police are searching for a suspect who, they say, attempted to rob a Chase Bank on Auburn Road.

Police say the man handed a teller a note about 2:35 p.m. Monday which demanded money. He did not get any money from the teller and left the bank on foot, police say.

He is described as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s standing between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall. He has a medium build and facial hair.

The man was wearing a black and purple California Angels baseball cap, a charcoal grey coat and black pants.

Anyone with information on the attempted robbery or the suspect described and shown in the images should contact the Auburn Hills Police Department at 548-370-9444 or Crime Stoppers at 800-SPEAK-UP.
