Police are looking for a man who swiped money from the cash register of the Family Video store on West Huron in Waterford Township.

Waterford Township police say they've made an arrest in the robbery of a Family Video store last weekend.

Police said a 32-year-old Waterford man is being held in the Oakland County jail pending charges in connection with the Sept. 1 theft at the store on West Huron.

Police said an employee reported finding cash missing from the register after he had stepped away to help customers.

A review of the store's surveillance video showed a white male with a shaved head opening the register and removing money before leaving the store.

The suspect was arrested Thursday without any trouble.

His name is being withheld until he is arraigned.
