Alleged bank robber who police say used a mountain bike to make his getaway in custody

Frederick J. Huggins, 44, from Macomb Township arrested on suspicion of bank robbery.

MACOMB TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

Police say they have a man in custody who allegedly robbed the Flagstar Bank on Hall Road back in August.

Frederick J. Huggins, 44, from Macomb Township was arrested after police say he entered the bank and approached a teller with a note implying he had a gun.

Police say Huggins then fled the scene riding a green mountain bike.

He is charged with one count of bank robbery and was arraigned Thursday in Shelby Township
