ROMEO, Mich. -

The Romeo Police Department is asking for help in finding a missing 83-year old woman named Anne Burns.

Burns was reported missing Wednesday by her sister and niece after they were told that she wasn't home for a scheduled afternoon hair appointment on Tuesday, March 25. It was later discovered that she missed a tax appointment in Lenox Township, Michigan, the previous day at noon.

The family says that Burns has been forgetful in the past when leaving her home.

Burns was driving a light metallic green 1995 four-door Ford Explorer bearing Michigan license plate 5J1659. She is white, about 5 feet 1 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds with reddish-brown hair and glasses.

If anyone has information on the missing Burns or her vehicle, please contact the Romeo Police Department at 586 752-3587.
