59-year-old woman of Clinton Township dies in house fire

CLINTON TWP., Mich. -

Two firefighters fought to save the life of a 59-year-old woman who lived on Biland street in Clinton Township Friday.

Sadly, the Clinton Township fire department reported Saturday that the victim died of severe burns and smoke inhalation.

When firefighters arrived to the house fire early Friday morning, the home located between Cass and Hall road was engulfed in flames.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
