49-year-old Detroit man missing after leaving his home May 9 to go to store

Detroit police are asking for the public's help in finding a 49-year-old man who has not been seen by his family since May 9.

Family members told police Dwayne Coleman left his home in the 11700 block of Payton at 1 p.m. that day to go to the store, but he hasn't been heard from since.

He is described as a black man standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. He has short hair and was last seen wearing a brown sweater with a hood, blue jeans and black gym shoes.

Police said Coleman is in good physical condition, but has a poor mental condition.
