4 Your Calendar: Fun events for all ages

If you're looking for something fun and different to do this weekend, here are some great events 4 Your Calendar:

Location: 220 E. Ann Street in Ann Arbor

Kids and adults alike can experience the battle of the temperatures - Science style at the Ann Arbor Hands On Museum this weekend. Check out the holiday exhibit with hot things, cold things and all things in between.

Location: One Warren City Square in Warren

The city of Warren embraces the winter weather with their annual Cold Rush Festival with lots of family activities from ice skating, ice carving and a petting zoo. All free from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday with additional skating time until 10 p.m.

Location: 176 Lakeside Drive in Detroit

Jambo means hello, and that's just the first thing you'll learn about Africa, it's Wildlife and Folklore from David Gakure, the zoo education specialist at the Belle IIle Nature Zoo. Stop in to listen and learn 1:30 to 3:30 Saturday afternoon.

Location: 14600 Common Road in Warren

Train buffs, get set for Sunday and the 16th Annual De La Salle Train and Toy Show featuring more than 200 vendors selling all makes, models and gauges of toy trains and accessories. Kids will enjoy the large operating train layouts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
