3rd man charged in Detroit gang rape; police seek 3 more

DETROIT – A 22-year-old man was arraigned Tuesday on several charges in connection to a robbery and gang rape in Detroit.

Chico Bruce is the third person charged in the attack that happened July 16 in the 10300 block of West McNichols Road.

A 21-year-old woman was walking with a 22-year-old man when a group of six males approached them. The couple was forced to undress and then robbed at gunpoint in an alley. The woman was raped. Less than two hours later another couple experienced the same horrifying ordeal nearby.

Edward-Ikie Orr, 18, and 17-year-old Jordan Alexander Reese -- were arrested July 23. They were arraigned on charges and are being held in jail on $250,000 cash bonds.

Bruce, Orr and Reese all face the following charges: 13 counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct; one count of kidnapping/unlawful imprisonment; two counts of armed robbery; assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder; and felony firearm.

These charges are in connection to the first attack on July 16. No one has been charged in the second attack.

Three other males remain wanted in connection to this crime. However, police have not identified them.
