35-year-old man killed in overnight motorcycle crash

ASH TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

Friends and family are mourning the loss of a 35-year-old man who was involved in a motorcycle accident.

The crash occurred just before 1 a.m. Sunday on the southbound I-275 exit ramp to Telegraph Road in Ash Township.

The Monroe County Sheriff Department days Todd Vanderbush was driving a 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he drove off the roadway and crashed into a ditch. Officers say Vanderbush was not wearing a helmet. He died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The crash is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 734-240-7768.
