MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. -

Three people wanted in connection to a string of violent crimes across the state, including stabbing a woman in metro Detroit, are the focus of a nationwide manhunt. Investigators said the three are so dangerous, the U.S. marshals are involved in tracking them down.

Daniel Leussenkamp Jr., Kevin Seely and Kimberly Wonsey have targeted Wyoming, Greenville and most recently Mount Clemens, where a woman was robbed and stabbed in her own home.

Attacked by her childhood friend, Rebecca Lee said when Lussenkamp showed up Sunday afternoon in Mt. Clemens she knew he was trouble.

"I couldn't believe that someone I had known for so long was capable of harming me this way," said Lee. "All I remember is Daniel telling me if I don't f-ing cooperate he was going to slit my f-ing throat. We started talking. Got into an argument when he had told me what he and done in Grand Rapids."

Lee said Leussenkamp, Seely and Wonsey bragged about their crime spree which police said started in Grand Rapids. Investigators said Lussencamp attacked a man at a hotel.

"He just said, 'Give me all your money,' and stabbed me in the throat, as you can see," the man said.

Detectives told Local 4 the dangerous trio went on to carjack an elderly woman Sunday morning and drove the car 160 miles to Mt. Clemens to Lee. She said Leussenkamp tried to convince her to find them a place to hideout in Florida.

"I started yelling you showed up and made me an accessory with all that I'm going through right now. Made me mad," said Lee.

Lee said when she told him to get out, he attacked her.

"He swung on me. I went to swing back, he told the female who was with him to start fighting with me," said Lee. "He pulled an extension cord out of the wall and proceeded to tie me up in a chair."

Lee said they tortured her, robbed her and then took off. But police are on their tracks.

"I want them caught and I hope to God they find them before anyone else is hurt," said Lee. "I thought I was going to die. I was afraid for my life."
