Car crash on southbound Lodge Freeway

Three people were rushed to the hospital early Tuesday morning after their car crashed and flipped on the Lodge Freeway.

Police on the scene said the car was on the service drive at about 4 a.m. when it lost control and rolled over onto the southbound Lodge freeway near Clairmount Street.

The right two lanes of the freeway were closed while police investigated and crews cleaned up debris.

All 3 of the victims were taken to Henry Ford Hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
