25th annual World AIDS Day Saturday

Saturday marks the 25th global observance of World AIDS Day, and local groups are are making sure we don't forget the task at hand.

Some of the events taking place on Saturday include:

World AIDS Day Detroit
RED & WHITE Event

MSU Detroit Center Garage
3408 Woodward Ave., Detroit, MI

Doors open at 6 p.m.
World AIDS Day Commemoration at 7 p.m.
With musical guests Robin Horlock and DJ "MIKey B"
Red and White attire encouraged
Live music, DJ, professional photo stations, hors d'oeuvres and beverages

Annual World AIDS Day Celebration
Noon - 4 p.m. Monday
Free
Kresge Eye Institute Auditorium
