Dr. Don Carpenter is a broadcaster. Specifically, host of the Dr Don Morning Show.
Born in Tulsa, Okla., Dr. Don Carpenter left a career in veterinary medicine more than 30 years ago for a career in the Country radio business.

His first job came at KFSB in Joplin, Mo., with stops in Tampa, Des Moines and Pittsburgh before landing at Detroit talkradio WOW-FM in 1992. WOW-FM would later become "Young Country" WYCD. In addition to hosting his “Dr. Don Morning Show,” Carpenter has written “The Dr. Don Prepsheet,” a source of topical news and comedy for broadcasters for 22 years.

He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in February of 2013. He's also been a nominee for the prestigious Marconi Award and a 3-time CMA nominee for Radio Personality of the Year.

Doc and Kaylyn have been married 32 years and have three parrots.
