2 shot, killed at west Detroit intersection

The victims were in a car sitting at a traffic light on the city's west side.


Two people were shot and killed Tuesday afternoon on Detroit's west side.

Detroit police said two men in a Dodge Charger were shot at Puritan Street and Schaefer Highway. The suspected shooter was in a silver-gray van which was passing by.

One of the victims died in the car. The other died at Sinai-Grace Hospital.

The shooter or shooters in the van never stopped. The Charger was stopped at the traffic light.

No arrests have been made.
