YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

The owner of a black 1966 Chevrolet SS 396 Chevelle is breathing a sigh of relief after the classic car has been found after it was stolen from his garage earlier this week.

The owner told Local 4 he was down in Alabama building a new home when someone broke into his Ypsilanti Township home in the 2200 block of Valley Street late Sunday night or early Monday morning. The thief took a TV, tools and the car.

The owner says he has worked on the car for years and driven it in the Woodward Dream Cruise.

Details on where the car was recovered were not immediately released.
