DETROIT – One person is dead following a shooting on Detroit's east side on 7 Mile near Mt. Elliot.
Sources tell Local 4 the incident started at Suzanne and Van Dyke when a minivan was chased by an SUV to the area of 7 Mile. Shots were then fired from the SUV, striking and killing the passenger in the minivan.

The minivan then crashed into a Grand Prix, injuring the driver of the Grand Prix.
Witnesses tell Local 4 the driver of the minivan ran to nearby store for help. They said he appeared injured and was taken away in an ambulance.
