The driver fled at a high rate of speed, driving off the road and crashing into the tree near School Section.

There were four younger adults in the vehicle, three males and one female. One is dead, and another is in critical condition. All three passengers were taken to MaClaren Macomb hospital and their current conditions are unknown at this time.

The Macomb County Sheriff's office along with Armada police continue to investigate the crash. More details will be reported as they become available.
