'Willie the Pig' goes missing from Garden City

A prized pig is missing.

The Garden City Downtown Development Authority says "Willie the Pig" was taken Friday from his post at Ford and Middlebelt roads.

The piece of art is valued at more than $6,000.

It's a felony to remove the pig, but the DDA is encouraging a "return the pig no questions, no questions asked" philosophy.

Anyone with information on the missing art is asked to call Garden City police at 734-793-1700 or the DDA at 734-261-2830.
