Detroit Zoo offers day of free admission to senior citizens

ROYAL OAK, Mich. -

The Detroit Zoo is offering a free day of admission for senior citizens.

Seniors living in Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties are invited to the complimentary day of fun that will feature live music, train tours, and bingo. Visitors will also get to hear animal facts from zookeepers.

Senior Day will take place Wednesday, April 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Seniors 62 and older along with a caregiver will receive complimentary admission and parking.

The Detroit Zoo is located at the intersection of 10 Mile Road and Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak.
