John Dingell to EPA: What's a Kardashian?

Longest standing congressman retiring after 58 years of service.

As the dean of the U.S. House of Representatives, Michigan Democrat John Dingell has seen some things.

Those things include eleven presidential administrations, the passage of civil rights legislation, the birth of the U.S. space program, Watergate, Iran-Contra, the Clinton impeachment, 9/11, and the auto bankruptcies. He's chaired committees, authored legislation, and battled colleagues.

But one thing that Dingell apparently has never seen in all his decades in Congress is a Kardashian. We should all be so lucky.

When the EPA's Office of Water sent out an errant tweet about the regulatory agency's success (or at least the success of an EPA employee) at Kim Kardashian's video game, the veteran lawmaker was left confused.

When his staff explained the existence of the Kardashian reality show cartel to him, Dingell was only more perplexed as to what the EPA was doing tweeting about them or their video game.

The EPA responded to Dingell saying the tweet was an error.
