Art & Apples Fest opens in Rochester

Look for food, fun and homemade apple pies

Detroit – The Paint Creek Center for the Arts hosts its annual Art & Apples Festival this weekend in downtown Rochester Park.

An estimated 285 artists from across the country will gather in the city's 30-acre park.  Look for fine art, entertainment, food courts and homemade apple pies.

With three food courts, the festival features a variety of food available for purchase with offerings from Caribou Coffee, Ice Cream Express, Redwood Grill, Roadside Grill, Motor City Franks, Union Jacks and others.
Entertainment includes the Stoney Creek High School Cougar marching band, the Rochester Adams High School Highlander Marching Band, Floyd King and the Bushwackers, the Swing Shift Orchestra and more.
Hours for the festival are 4-7:30 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday.
Admission is free.
