2014 Subaru Forester

Subaru unveiled its all-new 2014 Forester at the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show Wednesday, but you might have a hard time noticing the changes unless you look closely.

The new compact SUV shares the same basic shape as the previous model, and even looks a lot like the old model.

However, the car features all-new sheet metal and more room inside. The new version also comes with an available rear-view camera, power rear door, adaptive cruise control, collision warning system and lane departure warning system.

Powering the base model is a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that’s good for 170 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque. For a little more excitement, there will also be a 2-liter, six-cylinder turbocharged direct-injection engine that generates 250 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.

All 2014 Foresters will come with standard four-wheel-drive when they arrive in dealer showrooms in spring 2013.
