Team LaFontaine says it will host an '80s style fundraiser, 'The Nine and Wine,' to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on Friday at Fountains Golf & Banquet.

The event will feature The Mega 80's band performing live.

Ryan LaFontaine of Team LaFontaine said in the past three years, the organization has raised over $550,000 at their events to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

"The goal of Team LaFontaine is to raise over $1 million. I'm excited for the Nine And Wine because it's what I call a 'fun-raiser,'" said LaFontaine. "We're raising money for a great cause in the fight against cancer and we're having the time of our lives doing it. From the golf, to the dinner to the 80's themed party featuring the Mega 80's Band – it's going to be awesome."

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society says it is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the globe and provides free information and support services.

The event will include 9 holes, offering an optional 2-person golf scramble.

Ticket prices are $98 per person including golf, lunch, dinner and Mega 80's concert or $58 per person for dinner and Mega 80's concert only. Sponsorships are available.

Team LaFontaine says golf registration begins at 2 pm; followed by a shotgun start at 3 pm with lunch. Dinner and concert will follow at 6 pm, all while wearing 1980s gear.
