Substance abuse prevention, treatment meeting to be held in Livingston County
A local town hall meeting will be held Wednesday, July 10, to discuss and gather input that will be used to help in the planning, and implementation, of substance use disorder prevention and treatment services in Livingston County.
The meeting will be put on by the Livingston County Community Mental Health Authority, partnered with Substance Abuse Coordinating Agency of Livingston, Lenawee and Washtenaw counties at 622 E. Grand River Avenue in Howell, and will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Livingston residents are invited to attend the meeting where refreshments will be provided.
Those attending will be encouraged to share their personal experiences, successes and challenges, with the Recovery Oriented System of Care model that treatment providers are currently using.
Those attending will also have the opportunity to discuss successes and challenges facing the Livingston community in regards to the substance abuse prevention, treatment and use.
No RSVP is necessary. All friends, family members, service providers, individuals in treatment and all those in recovery of all ages are encouraged to attend.
