"Belle of the Ball," an event that collects and donates prom dresses, has returned for it's 7th year.

Put on by Wayne County Commissioner Alisha Bell, the event collects new, used and semi-formal prom dresses to later be donated to high school seniors who may be unable to afford one.

From March 1st to April 7th, dresses are being collected at The Boys & Girls Club at 16500 Tireman in Detroit.

Dresses can also be dropped off at the office of Ms. Bell, located on the 7th floor of the Guardian Building, 500 Griswold in Detroit.

Prom Dress distribution will be Saturday, April 12, 2014 at The Boys & Girls Club. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
