WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. -

A senior at Waterford Kettering High School wants to light up the sky Tuesday night.

A family friend said Noah Jutis lost two friends to suicide in the past six months. The most recent was Justin Lowry, 17, who died on September 3.

Jutis has organized "Lighting of the Sky" a memorial to honor Lowry and to raise awareness about teenage suicide.

It is happening Tuesday from 7:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. at  Hess-Hathaway Park in Waterford.  The park is located at  825 South Williams Lake Road.

Counselors, youth groups, teachers, ministers and other suicide awareness professionals will be in attendance.

People can bring candles and sky lanterns to the service.
