Meridian Health Plan Snowshoeing

Thanks to Meridian Health Plan, snowshoes are available for free at Winter Blast in a variety of sizes for children and adults. Experience this fun, outdoor activity with the whole family! Snowshoeing takes place in Cadillac Square.

Flagstar Bank Ice Garden

Beautifully carved and lighted ice sculptures again will be on display in the Flagstar Bank Ice Garden. Visitors can snap photos of their family and friends on one of two ornately crafted ice chairs, or even the ice bench.  Or, visitors can swing by the sculpture of an Eskimo family and pose in any of the four open faces for memorable pictures. On-site ice carving demonstrations will take place during festival hours on Friday to showcase the creativity and talent of local carvers. Located in Cadillac Square.

Marshmallow Roasting

The popular marshmallow roasting brazarios are back. Purchase a marshmallow or s'more kit and huddle around the fire roasting marshmallows! A fun activity for children and adults alike. The brazarios are located just outside the Atrium at Compuware World Headquarters.

Dogsledding Exhibitions

Dog sledding

Returning this year to lead the dog sled exhibitions will be Amanda Vogel, sled racer and Michigan native. She and the Snomad Racing Sled Dogs will give festivalgoers an authentic winter experience. Originally from Bay City, Vogel has been training and racing sled dogs for nearly 10 years and is excited for the opportunity to make her fifth appearance at the festival.
