Fire & Ice Festival continues this weekend in Rochester

ROCHESTER, Mich. -

The Fire & Ice Festival will continue this weekend in downtown Rochester, featuring fireworks, tube sledding, ice sculptures and more.

Oakland County, Oakland County Parks, the City of Rochester and downtown Rochester are hosting the free event, which organizers said began on Friday.

Other events to look for at the festival are snow shoeing and cross-country skiing, dog sled rides, ice skating, broom ball exhibition and TasteFest.

Shuttle parking for the Fire & Ice Festival is available at the Buffalo Wild Wings Rochester Hills location at 1234 Walton Road, east of Livernois. Organizers said parking and shuttle service to downtown Rochester is free.

The Brooksie Way's Chill at the Mill 5K and a Food Truck Rally are new at the festival this year. Organizers said carriage rides will also be offered on Saturday.
