Customers say they love both the authentic taste of the food and the quality of customer service.

"Just the best Sushi in the world and the friendliest owners and staff you could ever want," said Vera.

"The only thing that’s better than their sushi is their staff," said Gabriela.

Cafe Sushi

Placing second on the list of best sushi restaurants across Metro Detroit is Cafe Sushi, located in Troy, Michigan.

Cafe Sushi says it is a fusion cuisine sushi bar that adds a new dimension to Detroit dining, offering Japanese and Chinese foods with a full-service bar.

"The sushi is very good and love the atmosphere of the restaurant," said Joan, who voted in this year's contest. "The pastries are delicious, too."
