The Somerset Collection says it is the epicenter for luxury retail in the state of Michigan.

It's that time of year again!  With the holidays quickly approaching, you may looking for the best shopping mall experience to spend your hard earned dollar.

Voters have chosen their favorite malls across Metro Detroit in this year's Vote 4 The Best contest.

The Mall at Partridge Creek

Placing first on the list of best Detroit shopping mall experiences is The Mall at Partridge Creek in Clinton Township, Michigan.

First opening in October 2007, Partridge Creek Mall says its open-air regional mall is home to nearly 90 distinctive stores and restaurants.  What's unique about this shopping mall experience is it offers Bocce ball courts, free WiFi, pop jet fountains, a TV court and even a 30 foot fireplace.

Dogs are also allow welcomed with dog comfort stations on site.

"I shop there because they are pet friendly and have such great stores," says Kristi, who voted in this year's contest.

The Somerset Collection

Located in Troy, Somerset Collection is next on the list of best shopping mall experiences across southeast Michigan.

Somerset Collection says it is the epicenter for luxury retail in the state of Michigan.  With stores like Ralph Lauren, Gucci and Tiffany & Co., Somerset says its most impressive feature is its landmark, glass-enclossed moving walkway that links the north and south areas of the mall.

"Somerset has the right gift for your holiday shopping," said Ellen. "I love Nordstrom for shoes, Vera Bradley, Origins and Macy's."

Twelve Oaks Mall

Twelve Oaks Mall also places on the list of best shopping mall experiences recommended by Local 4 viewers.

Featuring nearly 200 specialty stores and restaurants, Twelve Oaks says it has been serving the community since 1977.

"I have been to millions of malls like Great Lakes Crossing, Summerset, West Oaks Mall, and more, but Twelve Oaks is the best mall ever," said Shayna.

Great Lakes Crossing

Also making the list of best shopping mall experiences is Great Lakes Crossing in Auburn Hills.

Great Lakes Crossing says it has 185 manufacturer's outlets and traditional retail stores.  The mall adds that it is "Michigan's only enclosed value-regional mall."

Local 4 voters like Steve say Great Lakes Crossing offers everything you could want.
