The Stone Soup project raffling off finished 1969 Mustang for charity

Proceeds from Stone Soup Boss 5.0 1969 Mustang raffle go to Children's Miracle Network at Beaumont Hospital

DETROIT – The Stone Soup Boss 5.0, a re-built 1969 Mustang with 575 horsepower, can be yours for the price of a $10 raffle ticket.

The 94.7 WCSX Stone Soup Project is raffling off the finished Mustang until mid-September.

All ticket proceeds go to the Children's Miracle Network at Beaumont Hospital.

The charity project is named after the fable of the "Stone Soup" in which everyone in a village pitches in an ingredients to make soup and in essence something out of nothing

Local businesses and volunteers donated parts and labor to re-build the Mustang.
